HB 251Entertainment Industry Tax Credit (Creates Florida First Production Partnership Program within DEO), Trabulsy; SB 476 by Gruters (compare).

Live Local (Catalyoud) already passed the floor of Senate. House Bill (HB 627 by Busatta Cabrera has two more committee stops before getting to House Floor. The best opportunity to impact this bill would be either in committee or in messages (from the floor of the house when it is bouncing between house and senate). Strategy: find most powerful legislator in Senate and House to carve out Orange County or to add a grandfather clause so that if you already passed rent control, the will of the people will not be overturned. https://myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Bills/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=77309&

Vacation Rentals: Dicegli (SB 714) and Duggan (HB 833). 1 committee left in the Senate and 2 committee to move through in the House. https://myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Bills/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=77478&SessionId=99

Financial Disclosure: Roach (HB 37) and Brodeur (SB 774). Passed along party lines in the Senate (8/2) and only has to pass Rules before heading to the floor. In the House it has passed through two committees with broad bi-partisan support and only has to pass State Affairs before heading to the floor. Roach is willing to delay the commencement date of the bill. https://myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Bills/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=76768

Sovereign Immunity: Beltran (HB 401) and Gruters (SB 604) tabled in the House. Senate - still has to move through Judiciary, Government Oversight and Rules. Only has Appropriations Committee left to pass in the House. How to impact this agenda -- Look at thresholds (either amounts or budget of city). https://myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Bills/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=77067&SessionId=99
